Lisa has over 20 years of experience helping students succeed. She has specialized training in the Wilson Reading System for students with dyslexia and has supported a wide range of learners from elementary through college. Lisa is skilled at working with students who need individualized support.

With over 12 years of classroom experience and nearly a decade of tutoring, Tracy specializes in helping students strengthen their math skills and confidence. She creates a supportive, engaging environment tailored to each learner’s needs. Outside of teaching, she enjoys traveling, live music and spending time with family.

Paige has over 15 years of experience teaching children from Pre-K through 6th grade. She brings a wide range of skills and creativity. Paige is known for creating engaging lessons that balance encouragement and high expectations. Outside of teaching, Paige enjoys reading, baking, and making memories with her family.

Master’s in Education and B.S. in Ecology, Ethology and Evolution (the fancy way of saying Zoology)
With over 35 years of teaching experience, Mr. Monti makes science engaging. He’s a former National Board Certified Teacher (an honor earned by only 3% of educators). His philosophy: Have fun, work hard, and always give your best. When he’s not teaching, he’s making music with his band or traveling the world with his wife.

Ms. Tammy
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education
Tammy has spent 16 wonderful years teaching kindergarten through third grade and was proud to receive the 2025 Great Teacher Award from the Joliet Chamber of Commerce. She believes learning should be meaningful and full of “aha!” moments. When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her at a nearby farm visiting her sweet pot-bellied pig, Rosie, and spreading the word about animal kindness.

Cris is a dedicated educator with more than 13 years of experience helping young learners build confidence and a love of learning. She has taught in Spanish Immersion, Dual Language, and bilingual programs, as well as FLES (Foreign Language in Elementary Schools). Her lessons are hands-on, engaging, and designed to bring out each child’s strengths.

With over 30 years of experience in Special Education, including two decades at the high school level, Kathleen brings expertise to every session. Guided by the belief that we teach students, not subjects, she focuses on building confidence. Kathleen supports learners in all subjects, executive functioning, and provides IEP guidance for parents.

Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences
Mr. Ryan is a high school science teacher with experience teaching Honors Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, and Physics. A former collegiate soccer player with more than eighteen years of coaching experience, he also enjoys coaching his children’s soccer teams. He believes students learn best when their natural curiosity is supported with active problem-solving.

Holly is a dedicated educator with experience in special education settings. She has tutored students in grades 1 through 5, including students with Dyslexia and ADHD. She sets goals with every student and helps them reach their full potential. She grew up on a farm and loves bringing that sense of curiosity and hands-on learning into her classroom.

Alexa has 12 years of teaching experience as a Grade 4 classroom teacher, K–2 bilingual reading interventionist, and K–5 English as an Additional Language teacher. She tailors instruction to meet the needs and interests of each child, focusing on helping students set and achieve their goals. Fun fact: She loves traveling the world and discovering new places.

Trisha has 18 years of experience teaching grades 5–8, specializing in Language Arts, as well as two years of online tutoring. Her instructional approach centers on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that honors each student’s strengths and encourages them to take risks, learn from mistakes, and grow both academically and personally. Fun fact: She has three lovable Shih Tzus.
