With over 20 years of experience teaching 6th-8th, Jenna brings expertise and a strong commitment to student growth. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in supporting students while guiding them to meet high expectations. Outside of teaching she is a proud baseball mom, despite once disliking the sport!

Ms. Ashlee specializes in middle school English Language Arts for grades 6–8. She is passionate about helping students strengthen reading comprehension, writing skills, and overall confidence in ELA. She focuses on making literature engaging and approachable while building strong fundamentals in grammar, organization, and written expression.

Brianna specializes in elementary reading, writing, spelling, and math. She believes every child learns best in a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment where they feel supported, challenged, and confident. Her lessons are engaging and interactive, incorporating hands-on activities and educational games that make learning enjoyable while building strong foundational skills.

Danielle’s teaching philosophy centers on fostering strong relationships and a love for learning. She balances high expectations with compassion, empowering students to embrace challenges. Outside of teaching, she enjoys bringing joy to children by performing as Moana for a kids’ character entertainment company.

Angelica is a native Spanish speaker who tutors middle school, high school, and adult learners. She works with students new to the language and those advancing in their skills. Her approach is patient, practical, and encouraging, helping students build confidence step by step as they develop their Spanish skills.

With over 35 years of teaching experience, Mr. Monti makes science engaging. He’s a former National Board Certified Teacher (an honor earned by only 3% of educators). His philosophy: Have fun, work hard, and always give your best. When he’s not teaching, he’s making music with his band or traveling the world with his wife.

Tammy has spent 16 wonderful years teaching kindergarten through third grade and was proud to receive the 2025 Great Teacher Award from the Joliet Chamber of Commerce. She believes learning should be meaningful and full of “aha!” moments. When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her at a nearby farm visiting her sweet pot-bellied pig, Rosie, and spreading the word about animal kindness.

Cris is a dedicated educator with more than 13 years of experience helping young learners build confidence and a love of learning. She has taught in Spanish Immersion, Dual Language, and bilingual programs, as well as FLES (Foreign Language in Elementary Schools). Her lessons are hands-on, engaging, and designed to bring out each child’s strengths.

Chrissy has 20 years of experience working with young learners and enjoys making lessons engaging, supportive and tailored to each child’s needs. She's a certified teacher and currently works as a 2nd grade teacher in Riverside.  She has a strong background in teaching emerging readers, writers, and mathematicians.

Mr. Ryan is a high school science teacher with experience teaching Honors Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, and Physics. A former collegiate soccer player with more than eighteen years of coaching experience, he also enjoys coaching his children’s soccer teams. He believes students learn best when their natural curiosity is supported with active problem-solving.

Holly is a dedicated educator with experience in special education settings. She has tutored students in grades 1 through 5, including students with Dyslexia and ADHD. She sets goals with every student and helps them reach their full potential. She grew up on a farm and loves bringing that sense of curiosity and hands-on learning into her classroom.

She is passionate about helping every student feel supported, and confident. Trisha has 18 years of experience teaching grades 5–8, specializing in Language Arts, as well as two years of online tutoring. Her instructional approach centers on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that honors each student’s strengths and encourages them to take risks, learn from mistakes, and grow both academically and personally. Fun fact: She has three lovable Shih Tzus.

Taylor has taught 7th and 8th grade math, Algebra, and has experience tutoring students through Calculus. She also gained valuable international teaching experience while teaching math in India.
